I am soooo excited! I didn’t know how much I would love a design wall until I went to Camp Stitchalot. We used them every day. Today, I made one and Voila!!
It really helps when you are trying to put blocks together that are a little crazy! I can measure the space and cut and sew. Fun, Fun.
Here’s a quick easy design wall for when you have limited space…a piece of polar fleece or flanelette draped over a curtain rod, picture frame or similar when you need it. You can usually the roll up and stash away until when you need it if you are short on space.
I’m jealous, Diane! I’ve been trying to figure out how to rearrange my sewing room to free up wall space.

I have no wall space. You can do it. It’s two pieces of 4×8 insulation board (foam) that I taped together with plastic packing tape. First, I glued batting on the side without words. They fold when you are through and you can put it in a corner. Mine are leaned in front of a closet and a small wall with pictures. It cost about $60 to make.
