I was working on the wonky log cabin quilt for a Christmas present but got too busy to finish it. So, his birthday is in February which will give me plenty of time to do it right. When I first began, I liked the mustard behind the blocks but that was too much mustard. I changed to the olive grean which goes better with the rest of the color swatches in the quilt.
The plan is to make the border a stripe and the back is a bowling ball pattern. Then, I’m going to quilt it in straight line about 1/2″ apart. Hope to finish this weekend.
