I am a wife, mother of three, and grandmother of two. I am a former kindergarten teacher, elementary principal, technology specialist, and assistant superintendent of schools. I began sewing when I was young and, when I was first married, I made a lot of my clothes. I sewed for my daughter until she cried and said she wanted to wear jeans. I enjoyed making baby quilts but, as time went on, I had less and less time for sewing. Now that I am retired, I am enjoying sewing again and have fallen in love with modern quilts. I hope that my blog will inspire others to try modern quilting!
Your quilts are beautifully modern. I am so jealous of your workshop with Sheila. Also enjoying your Pinterest posts! š
So nice to have you in our guild!
Thanks, I had a great time at the March meeting.
